The simple answer to the question above is ... EVERYTHING! It's simply that effective!
See our "Sanitizing Schedule", as well - click here. Vanodine® is an excellent cage cleaner. It is used by many to sanitize "community" cages at shows before introducing their own animals. It can be used to disinfect any and all surfaces your animal(s) may come in contact with. Many of the disinfectants on the market contain a bleach base and/or have an alcohol content. Bleach is, obviously, toxic and alcohol has limited properties as well as being an irritant. More to the point, no other disinfectant can claim nearly as broad an effective spectrum as Vanodine. In comparison to the quaternary ammonium and phenol products - Rocal, Enviroclean, Avinol, etc - Vanodine, in most cases, has double the bactericidal properties without any of the toxicity. Vanodine also has longer lasting residual properties that make it more effective than Lysol brand products. Disease prevention is everyone's ultimate goal. Vanodine is your answer. Hand & Tool Washing for Disease Prevention If you've been around animals at all, at one time or another, you've wished you could sanitize your hands before you touched another thing - especially another animal. Communication of disease is avoided by sanitizing hands and tools. Vanodine is your answer. Wound & Illness Treatment This is an area that truly sets Vanodine apart from other cleaners and disinfectants. At proper strength, Vanodine may be sprayed directly on wound sites. It is especially helpful in protection of healing surgical wounds. You wouldn't dare do this with Lysol or Spic-n-Span! Even more ... Vanodine may be misted directly into the face of a bunny (or other animal) that has "sneezers" and such. The spray will attack any pathogens that have not been absorbed by the animal - effectively shortening the length of any possible illness. Drinking Water Treatment Here's a two-pronged approach to wellness that you can get no other way ... Vanodine, added to an animals drinking water. Vanodine will not only sanitize the water - a concern, sometimes, in and of itself - but will assimilate its properties into the animal as "reinforcements" for the immune system. Aerial Disinfection How many times have you wanted to spray the air around your animal(s) but didn't because you couldn't cover everything and "everyone" first? This need never be a concern again. The aerial treatment strength of Vanodine is exactly the same strength of "wound and illness treatment". While you are sanitizing the air, you actually will desire the residual product to both be inhaled by your animals and to contact them - and other surfaces, too. Foot & Wheel Bath In areas where admission/transmission of disease is a concern, Vanodine is used as a foot bath for incoming visitors and animals. Have you ever had to "treat" your shoes at an airport? .. a dairy farm? In Europe, it's a common thing - and it's probably Vanodine you walked through. In animal shelters, one of the largest concerns is "inbound" disease. A treatment of Vanodine helps eliminate this problem. In a number of cases, quarantine time can be significantly reduced. Cattle companies routinely use Vanodine in "wheel troughs" to drive trucks through to eliminate possible disease transmission from "dirty" tires. |
